This was not the first time I witnessed a failing technology used to market a product, we’ve all seen our share of disastrous marketing executions. I was at my local Best Buy recently when I saw this and immediately began to laugh.. It seems as though all the listening stations in the music section were on the fritz - again! I’ve seen this happen several times before with the stations being left the entire day displaying an oh so familiar “It is now safe to turn off your computer” Windows message.
If the retail industry relies on the Windows platform to generate CD and music sales, then they will surely be doomed.
