Maybe they do or maybe they don’t, but with a recent email I received from the electronic giant it seems as though even they are confused. For the past couple of years I’ve been receiving marketing emails from Future Shop every week advertising current promotions and their weekly sales. Once in a while I get lucky and find some amusing quirks in their marketing campaigns like this one I will share with you today.
The screenshot of the email below illustrates a funny contradiction with regard to product placement, ad layout and overall sentiment of the company.

On the left we see an ad for a bluetooth headset with the caption “Drive Safely” while on the right we see and ad for Grand Theft Auto 4. “Drive safely or go steal some cars - your choice, we can provide you with both!” Gotta love their strategy!
